About The Position

This job advertisement is to fill an existing vacancy for a Teaching Assistant for the CHYS 3P47 Fall D2 - Introduction to Behaviour Analysis and Therapy course at Brock University. The position involves scheduled contact time with students and non-classroom time, including preparation of seminar material, student consultation, marking or grading, examination proctoring, attending lectures, holding office hours, and other course administration. The Teaching Assistant must be able to attend the last hour of lecture.

Requirements

Minimum 4th Year complete in the CHYS BA or CHYS BA/BEd program, or be entering and/or continuing in the CHYS MA or CHYS PhD program.
Must have previously completed CHYS 3P47 or equivalent, and obtained 80% or higher.
Previous successful experience as a Teaching Assistant for CHYS 3P47 will be considered as equivalent.
Must have effective communication skills including the ability to explain subject material to students.
Provide, if available, an evaluation of successful previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or Marker-Grader.
Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
