About The Position

This posting is for a Teaching Assistant position for the course CHG 4343, Computer-Aided Design in Chemical Engineering, during the Fall 2026 semester. The position involves developing a design project with professor guidance, leading student design teams, grading assignments, monitoring student progress, proposing tutorial and quiz problems, and providing general guidance to students. The expected enrollment is 90 students, and there are 3 positions available. The work start date is September 01, 2026, and the end date is December 31, 2026, with a total of 130 work hours. The hourly rate is $31.89 for undergraduate students and $50.25 for graduate students. All University of Ottawa employees must complete mandatory legislated training. The hiring process will follow the CUPE 2626 collective agreement. Requirements

• Undergraduate or Graduate student status (pay rate differs)
