About The Position

This posting is for a Teaching Assistant (TA) position for the CONTRÔLE DES PROCÉDÉS (CHG 3735) course during the Fall 2026 semester. The position is classified under CUPE and is located at the Main Campus. The work is expected to be performed in person on the Ottawa campus from September 1 to December 31, 2026. The number of positions and hours are subject to final enrollment in the course and may vary. The hiring process will be governed by the current CUPE 2626 collective agreement.

Requirements

• Must be fully aware of process control and have taken a similar course as an undergraduate student.
• Must be knowledgeable in dynamic modeling, Laplace transforms, transfer functions, and the design and tuning of PID controllers.
• An oral interview may be used to test the TA's knowledge level for this course.
• All employees are required to complete mandatory legislated training offered by the University.
