About The Position
This posting is for a Teaching Assistant (TA) position for the AHL1100-C00 course, Introduction to Interdisciplinary Study in the Arts, during the 2026 Fall Semester. The position is with the Faculty of Arts, Unit: AHL Interdisciplinary Study in Arts_ST. The work is to be performed at the Main Campus. The TA will be responsible for a combination of duties as per Article 4.3.1 of the CUPE 2626 collective agreement, which may include correcting assignments, attending lectures (in class and/or online), consulting with individual students (in person and/or online), and proctoring. The number of hours or positions may vary according to enrollment. The teaching mode is in person. The hiring process will be governed by the current CUPE 2626 collective agreement.
Requirements
- B.A.
- Fluency in English
- Ability to communicate accurately, effectively, and with clarity in the language of instruction
- Good knowledge of Brightspace is an asset
