About The Position
This posting is for a Teaching Assistant (TA) position for the Communication Planning course (CMN3130-C00) during the 2026 Fall Semester. The position is under the CUPE 2626 collective agreement. The TA will be responsible for a combination of duties as per Article 4.3.1, which may include correcting assignments, attending lectures (in-class and/or online), consulting with students (in-person and/or online), and proctoring exams. The total work hours for this position are 45. The hourly rate depends on the student's academic level: undergraduate students will be paid at $31.89/hour, and graduate students will be paid at $50.25/hour (2024-2025 rates). These rates do not include vacation or statutory pay and will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified, with retroactivity paid after ratification. The academic year runs from September 1 to August 31. The number of hours or positions may vary based on enrollment. The teaching mode for this course is in-person.
