About The Position

This position is for a Teaching Assistant for the course CRM4302 B00, Abolitionism and the Criminal Justice System, during the Fall 2026 semester. The role involves a combination of tasks such as facilitating discussion groups, grading papers and exams, providing one-on-one consultations with students, and proctoring exams. The student must adhere to the suggested work schedule and be available to attend lectures if requested by the supervisor. The course is taught in-person.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with Honours in Criminology or equivalent.
  • Must meet the deadlines set by the supervisor.
  • Must attend lectures if requested to do so.
  • Must successfully complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.
  • Must be available to attend the course at the supervisor's request.

  • Priority will be given to candidates in accordance with articles 18.5 and 18.6.
