About The Position

This posting is for a Teaching Assistant (TA) position for the Contemporary Critical Theories in Criminology course (CRM3301, Section B00) during the Fall 2026 semester. The position is classified under CUPE and is for a new position. The work is to be performed at the Main Campus. The TA will be responsible for a combination of tasks including leading discussion groups, marking papers and exams, holding office hours for student consultations, and proctoring exams. The student must meet deadlines set by the supervisor and attend lectures if requested. The course is in-person.

Requirements

• Baccalauréat avec spécialisation en criminologie ou son équivalent.
• BA Honours in Criminology or equivalent.
• Successfully complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.
• Be available to attend the course at the supervisor's request.

• Priority will be given to candidates in accordance with articles 18.5 and 18.6.
