About The Position

This posting is for a Teaching Assistant (TA) position for the course CRM2300 B00, Criminal Law and the Criminal Justice System, during the Fall 2026 semester. The position is classified under CUPE and is for a new position. The work is to be performed at the Main Campus. The TA will be responsible for a combination of tasks including facilitating discussion groups, marking papers and exams, holding office hours for student consultations, and proctoring exams. The student must adhere to the suggested work schedule and be available to attend lectures if requested by the supervisor. All University of Ottawa employees are required to complete mandatory legislated training. The hiring process will be governed by the CUPE 2626 collective agreement. Requirements

Baccalauréat avec spécialisation en criminologie ou son équivalent.
BA Honours in Criminology or equivalent.
Must meet the deadlines set by the supervisor.
Must attend lectures if requested to do so.
Must successfully complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.
