About The Position

This posting is for a Teaching Assistant (TA) position for the course CRM4302 Section A00, titled "Abolitionism and the Criminal Justice System", during the Fall 2026 semester. The position is for one section of the course with an expected enrollment of 60 students. The work is in-person and is governed by the CUPE 2626 collective agreement. Requirements

• Baccalaureate with specialization in Criminology or its equivalent
• Must meet the deadlines set by the supervisor
• Must be available to attend the course at the request of the supervisor
• Must successfully complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University
• Must be an undergraduate or graduate student (undergraduate students will be paid at a lower rate than graduate students)

Nice To Haves

• Priority will be given to candidates in accordance with articles 18.5 and 18.6 of the collective agreement.
