About The Position
This posting is for a Teaching Assistant/Demonstrator/Lab Monitor position for the Advanced Materials in Chemical Engineering course (CHG 3305) during the 2026 Spring/Summer Semester. The role involves supporting the instructor in delivering the course, which will be taught in person on the Ottawa campus. The assignment is from May 25, 2026, to August 14, 2026, with no exceptions unless approved for emergencies. The number of positions and hours are subject to final course enrollment.
Requirements
- BASc in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
- Must successfully complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.
- Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.
Responsibilities
- Support the instructor in delivering the course.
- Engage in tasks related to preparation, contact with students, grading, proctoring, and training as negotiated with the supervising professor.
