About The Position

This posting is for a Teaching Assistant (TA) position for the course PROG EVAL: THEORY & CONTEMP (Course Code: 6299, Section: DA00) during the 2026 Spring/Summer Semester at the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Education. The position is under the CUPE 2626 collective agreement. The contract is for 65 hours, with tasks to be determined in conjunction with the supervising professor, Katherine Moreau. The work start date is May 04, 2026, and the work end date is June 12, 2026. The hourly rate depends on student status: $31.89 for undergraduate students and $50.25 for graduate students (2024-2025 rates, excluding vacation and statutory pay). Requirements

• 65hr contract
• Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.
• All University of Ottawa employees are required under provincial law to successfully complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.
• The hiring process will be governed by the current CUPE 2626 collective agreement.
