About The Position
This posting is for a Teaching Assistant/Demonstrator/Lab Monitor position for the course CHG 2317: Introduction to Chemical Process Analysis and Design during the 2026 Spring/Summer Semester. The position is within the Faculty of Engineering, Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering. The work is to be performed on the Main Campus in Ottawa. The assignment will take place on campus from May 25 to August 14, 2026, with no exceptions. Any deviation will only be considered in the event of an emergency and must receive prior approval from the department. The number of positions and hours offered are subject to final enrolment and may vary. All University of Ottawa employees are required to complete mandatory legislated training. The hiring process will be governed by the CUPE 2626 collective agreement. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or satisfy the requirements for admission in the MASc or PhD program in Chemical Engineering or the equivalent
- All University of Ottawa employees are required under provincial law to successfully complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.
