About The Position

This posting is for a Teaching Assistant (TA) position for the Introduction to Canadian Politics course (POL2101, Section B00) during the Fall 2026 semester at the University of Ottawa. The position is classified under CUPE and involves various responsibilities related to supporting the course and its students. The work will be performed on the Main Campus.

Requirements

  • Priority will be given to candidates in accordance with articles 18.5 and 18.6 of the CUPE collective agreement.
  • Students must be available to travel to the University of Ottawa campus in Ottawa at the request of their supervisor and/or the School.
  • All University of Ottawa employees are required under provincial law to successfully complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.
  • The hiring process will be governed by the current CUPE 2626 collective agreement.
