About The Position

This posting is for a Teaching Assistant (TA) position for the POL2104 - Introduction to Comparative Politics course, Section B00, during the Fall 2026 semester. The work is to be performed at the Main Campus. The TA will be responsible for various duties including teaching assistance, leading discussion groups, marking papers and exams, and holding office hours for students. The student must adhere to deadlines set by the supervisor and attend lectures if requested. The teaching method for this course is in-person, requiring some work to be done on campus. Requirements

Priority will be given to candidates in accordance with articles 18.5 and 18.6 of the CUPE collective agreement.
Students must be available to travel to the University of Ottawa campus in Ottawa at the request of their supervisor and/or the School.
All University of Ottawa employees are required under provincial law to successfully complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.

The hiring process will be governed by the current CUPE 2626 collective agreement.
