About The Position

This posting is for a Corrector (CUPE) position for the Introduction to Canadian Politics course (POL2101, Section B00) during the Fall 2026 semester at the University of Ottawa. The role involves grading papers and exams, and the student must meet deadlines set by the supervisor. The work will be delivered in a distance teaching format, but may change due to health measures. Students must be available to travel to the University of Ottawa campus if requested. All University of Ottawa employees must complete mandatory legislated training. The hiring process is governed by the CUPE 2626 collective agreement.

Requirements

  • Priority will be given to candidates in accordance with articles 18.5 and 18.6 of the CUPE collective agreement.
  • Students must be available to travel to the University of Ottawa campus in Ottawa at the request of their supervisor and/or the School.
  • Must successfully complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.
  • Must be available to travel to the University of Ottawa campus in Ottawa at the request of their supervisor and/or the School.
