About The Position

This position is for a Teaching Assistant for the Quantitative Methods in Psychology II course (PSY2116, Section C01) during the Winter 2027 semester at the University of Ottawa. The role involves supporting the course through various duties including training, preparation, student contact, marking, grading, and proctoring exams. The assistant will also be responsible for weekly laboratories or tutorials, which will be offered in person. The TA is expected to be available during the scheduled lab time on Wednesdays from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. All University of Ottawa employees are required to complete mandatory legislated training. The hiring process will follow the CUPE 2626 collective agreement. Requirements

  • Honours Baccalaureate in Psychology or its equivalent
  • Current enrolment in a graduate program in Psychology
  • Availability during scheduled lab time (Wednesdays from 7:00 PM to 08:30 PM)
