About The Position

This position is for a Teaching Assistant for the Quantitative Methods in Psychology II course (PSY2116, Section E02) during the Winter 2027 semester. The role involves supporting the instructor with various teaching duties, including training, preparation, student contact, grading, and proctoring exams. The assistant will also be responsible for weekly laboratories or tutorials, which will be offered in person. The course has an expected enrollment of 60 students. The total work hours for this position are 130.

Requirements

  • Honours Baccalaureate in Psychology or its equivalent.
  • Current enrolment in a graduate program in Psychology.
  • All University of Ottawa employees are required under provincial law to successfully complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.
  • Availability during the scheduled lab time (Tuesdays from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM).
