About The Position

This position is for a Teaching Assistant for the Quantitative Methods in Psychology II course (PSY2116, Section C03) during the Winter 2027 semester. The role involves supporting the course, which will be offered in person and includes weekly laboratories or tutorials. The TA is expected to be available during the scheduled lab time on Tuesdays from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. The total work hours for this position are 130.

Requirements

• Honours Baccalaureate in Psychology or its equivalent.
• Current enrolment in a graduate program in Psychology.
• Availability during the scheduled lab time (Tuesdays from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM).
• Must complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.
• Must apply using worker profile in Workday if currently an active employee of the University of Ottawa.

Responsibilities

• Training, preparation, contact with students, marking, grading, and proctoring all exams.
• Conducting weekly laboratories or tutorials.
