About The Position

This position is for a Teaching Assistant for the Quantitative Methods in Psychology II course (PSY2116, Section D02) during the Winter 2027 semester. The role involves supporting the instructor in various aspects of the course, including training, preparation, student contact, grading, and proctoring exams. The assistant will also be responsible for weekly laboratories or tutorials, which will be offered in person. The TA is expected to be available during the scheduled lab time on Wednesdays from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM. Requirements

  • Honours Baccalaureate in Psychology or its equivalent.
  • Current enrolment in a graduate program in Psychology.
  • All University of Ottawa employees are required under provincial law to successfully complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.
  • Availability during the scheduled lab time (Wednesdays from 01:00 PM to 2:30 PM).
