About The Position
This posting is for a Teaching Assistant/Demonstrator/Lab Monitor position for the SDS 3786 Data Science Lab course during the Fall 2026 semester. The course focuses on data management and analysis, including data manipulation, cleaning, exploratory analysis, visualization, regression and classification methods, and report writing. The role involves assisting students with their Python labs and projects, and marking labs, projects, and other assignments. The number of positions and hours offered are subject to final enrollment in the course.
Requirements
- Good knowledge of data science topics (e.g. data cleaning, descriptive and predictive analysis, visualization)
- Good knowledge of Python, particularly used for data science applications
- Experience working with Jupyter Notebooks
