About The Position

This posting is for a Teaching Assistant (TA) position for the Waves and Optics course (PHY2311) during the Fall 2026 semester. The position is classified under CUPE and is for a specific course. Requirements

• Completion of four (4) years of University level Physics or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Marking / Grading: 60 hours
• Contact with students: 24 hours
• Preparation: 24 hours
• Office hours, helping students: 12 hours
• Proctoring of a final exam: 4 hours
• Proctoring / course evaluation etc.: 6 hours
