About The Position

This posting is for a Teaching Assistant (TA) position for PHY1121 - Fundamentals of Physics during the Fall 2026 semester at the University of Ottawa. The position is within the Faculty of Science, Department of Physics. The TA will be responsible for various tasks related to the course, including DGD sessions, preparation of course materials, holding office hours, grading assignments, and proctoring exams. The total work hours for this position are 130 hours. The hiring process will follow the CUPE 2626 collective agreement. Requirements

• Completion of 3 years of University level Physics or equivalent.
• Must be an undergraduate or graduate student.
• Must complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.

Responsibilities
