About The Position
This posting is for a Teaching Assistant (TA) position for the course SED1511 A, "Développement personnel et communication", during the Fall 2026 semester. The position is with the School of Engineering Design and Teaching Innovation within the Faculty of Engineering. The total expected work hours are 95, primarily focused on contact with students and other related tasks. The hiring process will be governed by the CUPE 2626 collective agreement. Requirements
- Proven abilities in written, oral, and graphical communication in FRENCH
- Reflective awareness of yourself as both a learner and a communicator
- The ability and willingness to argue, both productively and professionally
- The ability and willingness to critique - not criticize - both yourself and others
- Demonstrated open-mindedness towards new ideas, theories, and perspectives
- Demonstrated rigour in practice through the integration of theory and experience
- Successful completion of all mandatory legislated training offered by the University
- Must be a CUPE 2626 member or eligible for membership
Responsibilities
- Contact with students: 65 hours
- Other tasks: 30 hours
