About The Position
This posting is for a Teaching Assistant (TA) position for the Business Forecasting Analytics course (ADM4307) during the Fall 2026 semester at the University of Ottawa's Telfer School of Management. The TA will be responsible for marking assignments and projects, holding office hours, and proctoring exams. The position requires a strong understanding of Business Forecasting Analytics, the ability to apply grading rubrics, and manage workload efficiently. Previous TA experience in a similar course and knowledge of R software are considered assets. The role is governed by the CUPE 2626 collective agreement.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of Business Forecasting Analytics
- Ability to apply grading rubrics and provide clear, structured feedback
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage workload efficiently
- Minimum C.G.P.A. of 8.0
- Minimum grade of A- in 2303 and 2304 or their equivalents
- Ability to program forecasting models
- Demonstrated knowledge of R software
- Must be located in Ottawa for the entire duration of the course
Nice To Haves
- Previous successful TA experience in the course (or a similar course)
- Experience with online course delivery
- Experience with online videoconferencing environment (e.g., Microsoft Teams or Zoom)
