About The Position

This position is for a Corrector (CUPE) for the course ADM4356: Alternative Investments and Risk Management during the Fall 2026 semester. The primary responsibility is the grading of quizzes and case studies. The work is to be performed on the Main Campus. The academic year runs from September 1 to August 31. Undergraduate students will be paid at a lower rate, while graduate students will receive a higher rate. These rates do not include vacation or statutory pay and are subject to change upon ratification of a new collective agreement. Requirements

  • Ability to apply grading rubrics and provide clear, structured feedback
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage workload efficiently
  • Minimum C.G.P.A. of 7.0
  • Minimum grade of A in ADM4356 or its equivalent
  • Access to a computer, internet, microphone and webcam
  • Must be located in Ottawa for the entire duration of the course

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with online course delivery
  • Experience with online videoconferencing environment (e.g., Microsoft Teams)
  • Preference will be given to higher grades
  • Preference will be given to candidates who have previously been teaching assistants or markers for this course
  • Preference will be given to candidates enrolled in Telfer programs
