About The Position

This posting is for a Teaching Assistant position for the Intermediate Accounting II course (ADM3340) during the 2026 Fall Semester at the Telfer School of Management. Requirements

  • Strong understanding of Intermediate Accounting
  • Ability to apply grading rubrics and provide clear, structured feedback
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage workload efficiently
  • Minimum C.G.P.A. of 7.5
  • Minimum grade of A- in ADM 3340 or its equivalent
  • Current knowledge of IFRS and Canadian ASPE relevant to ADM3340's curriculum
  • Must be located in Ottawa for the entire duration of the course
  • Required to have access to a computer, internet, microphone and webcam

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with online course delivery
  • Experience with online videoconferencing environment (ex. Microsoft Teams)
  • Relevant experience as a teaching assistant for ADM3340
  • Higher grades
  • Previously been teaching assistants or markers for this course
  • Enrolled in Telfer programs
