About The Position

Teachers at Temple Terrace KinderCare implement KinderCare’s curriculum in a way that reflects each child’s unique needs and create safe, nurturing environments where children can play and learn. They partner with parents to provide high-quality care and education, and work with center staff and leadership to support goals related to enrollment, accreditation, and engagement. Teachers also build positive relationships with families, colleagues, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners. The role supports children’s education and development while contributing to a welcoming experience for families.

Requirements

• Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or be willing to obtain them.
• Have or be willing to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Demonstrate outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask and handle multiple situations effectively.
• Be physically able to lift at least 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Be able to assume low-level postures for physical and visual contact with children.
• Be able to see and hear well enough to keep children safe and engage in physical activity with them.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents.
