About The Position

KinderCare at Wayne is hiring a Teacher to support children’s learning and development in a safe, nurturing classroom. The teacher implements KinderCare’s curriculum in ways that address each child’s unique needs, partners with families to provide care and education, and works with center staff and leadership to support center goals. Teachers help build positive relationships with families, colleagues, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners. The role involves working indoors or outdoors, engaging in physical activity with children, and communicating with children and parents in English.

Strong organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and handle multiple situations effectively.
Meet state-specific qualifications for the role.
CPR and First Aid Certification, or willingness to obtain it.
Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.
Ability to work indoors or outdoors.
Ability to assume postures at low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children.
Ability to see and hear well enough to keep children safe and engage in physical activity with children.
Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents.
