About The Position

Teachers at KinderCare at Hillsborough implement KinderCare’s curriculum in ways that meet each child’s unique needs and create safe, nurturing environments for children to play and learn. They partner with parents to provide care and education, and work with center staff and leadership to support goals related to enrollment, accreditation, and engagement. The role also involves building positive relationships with families, colleagues, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners. KinderCare describes the position as an opportunity to support children’s education and development while contributing to a world-class classroom experience. The stated pay range is $17.05 per hour.

Requirements

• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and handle multiple situations effectively.
• Meet state-specific qualifications for the role, or be willing to obtain them.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain it.
• Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Able to assume low-level postures for physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children.
• Able to read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents.
