About The Position
Marion County Public Schools is hiring a full-time Teacher. The position requires a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university that qualifies for Florida Educator Certification, or eligibility through one of the listed alternative pathways: District certification in a Career and Technical Education subject area, the Military Veterans Certification Pathway, the Temporary Teacher Internship Certification Pathway, or an ROTC position. Applicants without a valid Florida Department of Education educator certificate are instructed to provide supporting documents and apply for certification. Pre-employment drug testing and a Level II background screening are mandatory for prospective employees. Requirements
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university that qualifies for Florida Educator Certification, unless eligible through one of the listed alternative certification pathways.
- Applicants without a valid Florida Department of Education educator certificate should attach a transcript, out-of-state certificate, and any Florida Department of Education exam scores, and will need to apply for an educator certificate.

- A pre-employment Level II background check will be conducted.
