About The Position

Teachers at San Dimas-Foothill KinderCare implement KinderCare’s curriculum in ways that meet each child’s unique needs and create safe, nurturing environments where children can play and learn. They partner with families to provide high-quality care and education, work with center staff and leadership to support enrollment, accreditation, and engagement goals, and build positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners. KinderCare invests in teachers’ careers and recognizes their commitment to children and families.

Requirements

Meet state-specific qualifications for the role, or be willing to obtain them.
Have outstanding customer service and organizational skills.
Be able to multitask and handle multiple situations effectively.
Have or be willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
Be physically able to lift at least 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
Be able to assume low-level postures for physical and visual contact with children.
Be able to see and hear well enough to keep children safe and engage in physical activity with children.
Be able to read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.
