About The Position

Teachers at South Windsor KinderCare implement KinderCare's curriculum in ways that meet each child's unique needs and create safe, nurturing environments for children to play and learn. They partner with parents to provide high-quality care and education, and work with center staff and leadership to support goals related to enrollment, accreditation, and engagement. Teachers also build positive relationships with families, colleagues, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners. KinderCare offers career investment and support, along with a community of dedicated colleagues. The role requires meeting state-specific qualifications or being willing to obtain them, and obtaining CPR and First Aid certification or being willing to do so. The stated pay range is $17.50 per hour.

Requirements

Outstanding customer service skills.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and handle multiple situations effectively.
Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or be willing to obtain them.
Have CPR and First Aid certification or be willing to obtain it.
Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
Able to assume low-level postures to maintain physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children.
Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents.
