About The Position

Teachers at Canyon Country KinderCare implement KinderCare’s curriculum in a manner that meets each child’s unique needs and create a safe, nurturing environment for children to play and learn. They partner with parents to provide high-quality care and education, and work with center staff and leadership to support goals related to enrollment, accreditation, and engagement. Teachers build positive relationships with families, colleagues, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners. KinderCare describes its teaching team as central to its early childhood education programs and offers career investment and support as teachers serve children and families.

Requirements

• Meet state-specific qualifications for the role, or be willing to obtain them.
• Have or be willing to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Demonstrate outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational skills.
• Be able to multitask and handle multiple situations effectively.
• Be physically able to lift at least 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Be able to assume low-level postures to maintain physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents.
