About The Position

Teachers at Cuyahoga Falls KinderCare support children’s learning and development by implementing KinderCare’s curriculum in a way that meets each child’s needs. They create safe, nurturing classroom environments, partner with families, and work with center staff and leadership to support center goals. The role involves engaging with children indoors and outdoors and building positive relationships with families, colleagues, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners. Requirements

• Meet state-specific qualifications for the role, or be willing to obtain them.
• Have or be willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Demonstrate outstanding customer service and strong organizational skills.
• Be able to multitask and handle multiple situations effectively.
• Be physically able to lift at least 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Be able to assume low-level postures for physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents.
