About The Position
Fair Lawn High School is seeking a Teacher of Physical Education/Health for a leave replacement position for the 2026-2027 school year, specifically from September 1, 2026, to December 23, 2026. Requirements
- Proper N.J. certification in Physical and Health Education.
- Strong instructional background.
- Familiarity with NJ Student Learning Standards.

- Knowledge of educational software applications.
- Experience working with at-risk students.
- Knowledge of curriculum modifications.
- Ability to perform physical work requiring frequent bending and lifting.
Responsibilities
- Instruct students in physical education and health.
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with NJ Student Learning Standards.
- Manage classroom and/or gymnasium activities.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Utilize educational software applications.
- Work with at-risk students.
- Implement curriculum modifications as needed.
- Perform physical work including frequent bending and lifting.
