About The Position

Requirements

• BA in French and/or French Education
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.
• A lifelong learner willing to embrace new methodologies and explore intricacies of pedagogy, assessment, and grading.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree preferred
• AP experience desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning.
• Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
• Demonstrate preparation and skill in working with students from diverse cultural, economic and ability backgrounds.
• Observe and evaluate student performance and development, providing timely feedback to students and their parents.
• Use relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction.
• Communicate student progress and needs regularly to students, colleagues and parents.
