TheraPeds Partners is hiring a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) for a full-time, school-based opportunity in Hobart, Indiana. This position serves students across PreK–12, as well as transition-age students (up to age 13) during the 2026–2027 school year. The role involves empowering students who are deaf or hard of hearing to reach their full academic potential while collaborating with a supportive multidisciplinary team. The position is on-site and in-person, requiring collaboration with educational teams to promote student access to instruction, communication, and academic success. Responsibilities include student evaluations, IEP meetings, progress monitoring, consultation, educational planning, and maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with district and state requirements. Guaranteed paid hours cover direct services, documentation, planning, meetings, travel between school sites, and administrative tasks. The role offers ongoing collaboration and professional support from both the partnering school district and the TheraPeds Partners team.
