TheraPeds Partners is hiring a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) for a full-time, school-based opportunity in Hobart, Indiana. This position serves students across PreK–12, as well as transition-age students (up to age 13) during the 2026–2027 school year. The role involves empowering students who are deaf or hard of hearing to reach their full academic potential while collaborating with a supportive multidisciplinary team. The position is for the 2026–2027 academic year, with a weekly schedule of 32–40 hours. Responsibilities include providing specialized educational support, collaborating with educational teams, participating in student evaluations and IEP meetings, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with district and state requirements. Guaranteed paid hours cover direct services, documentation, planning, meetings, travel between school sites, and administrative tasks. Ongoing collaboration and professional support are provided by both the partnering school district and the TheraPeds Partners team. The role is on-site and in-person.
