About The Position
Robert Ketterer Charter School is hiring a full-time Secondary Mathematics Teacher, located in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. The teacher must be certified in Pennsylvania for grades 7–12 and have good communication and interpersonal skills. The position is a 190-day contract. The starting salary is $50,000.
Requirements
- Pennsylvania teaching certification for grades 7–12.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop advanced lesson plans and performance tasks with stated outcomes for each class.
- Facilitate students’ learning of academic, social, and life skills related to mathematics and everyday life.
- Administer pre- and post-tests and incorporate student results and needs into educational planning.
- Participate in curriculum team meetings and actively contribute to the planning team.
- Ensure IEP goals and recommendations are implemented in all classes.
- Communicate with parties involved in students’ education, including educators, parents, counties, and workers.
