About The Position
This is a summer position for a Kindergarten Teacher at the Early Learning Center (ELC) for the Summer 2026 program. The role involves teaching students using the Early Childhood Model of Instruction, planning daily lessons, following IEPs, recording attendance, ensuring proper program opening and closing, and adhering to emergency procedures. Additional duties may be assigned by an administrator or summer site supervisor.
Requirements
- Current MLE teacher
- Classroom Teacher
- Instructional Coach
- Teacher with certification in ELL, PK-2, or K-3
Responsibilities
- Teach students utilizing Early Childhood Model of Instruction
- Plan daily lessons to meet the needs of all students
- Follow all IEP’s (Individualized Educational Plans)
- Record daily attendance
- Ensure appropriate opening and closing of daily program
- Follow emergency procedures
- Perform other duties assigned by administrator or summer site supervisor
