About The Position

This position provides classroom instruction and training in Family and Consumer Sciences education at the high school level. The teacher may be assigned to teach a combination of subjects including My Cuisine, Global Cuisine, Interior Design, Fashion Merchandising, Fashion, Fabric, Construction, and Child Development. This posting is a general talent pool rather than a specific active job opening; applications may be circulated among school buildings with a vacancy in this area, and submitting an application does not guarantee an interview. The role includes assessing student achievement, maintaining records, protecting students and school property, collaborating with administrators, colleagues, and parents, and maintaining professional competence.
