About The Position

As a Teacher Assistant or Classroom Assistant for a Head Start Program, you will be responsible for supporting the lead teacher in providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children. Your duties will include assisting with classroom activities, supervising children, and providing basic care such as feeding and diapering. You will also work closely with parents and families to ensure that children are meeting developmental milestones. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
