About The Position
Cadence Education is seeking an Infant Teacher Assistant to help create a joyful, nurturing environment for infants. The role supports the school’s educational philosophy and works with educators to provide a positive, engaging learning space and an age-appropriate curriculum. The assistant observes and responds to children’s interests, supports their safety and development through language, toys, and activities, encourages age-appropriate social behavior, and shares daily milestones with parents. The role also contributes ideas for a balanced schedule that includes quiet and active periods, indoor and outdoor activities, and fine and gross motor experiences. The position is located in Pekin, Illinois. Candidates must meet all state preschool teacher assistant requirements and be flexible and ready to work during business hours. Experience as a teacher assistant or in a licensed daycare is preferred. The employer describes its early education program as research-based and its school environments as home-like.
