About The Position

Validate Equity Derivative products in a timely manner, to warrant an accurate reflection of trade blotters or confirms to source systems, while in accordance with industry regulations and standard market conventions. Execute trade amendments and maintain trade flows for various portfolios, by analyzing and processing an assortment of trade transactions. Manage daily portfolio / reconciliations and diverse reports to ensure trade data within TD’s internal book of records is mirroring trading systems accurately; thereby giving effective risk exposure and PnL reporting. Liaise closely with Front Office and various groups such as: CMRM, Treasury Credit, Technology, Settlements, Confirmations, and other stakeholders to meet business goals and demands. Engage in ad hoc projects for Senior Management and Projects Team. Assignments include; testing for system upgrades, facilitation of mass book / trades unwind or novation, and analysis reporting. Responsible for updating Standard Operating Procedures to meet current organizational objectives. Pro-actively proposed and implemented new initiatives to improve processing efficiencies and to provide more effective business support.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and understanding of business processes, products and transactions across Global Markets.
  • Experience with Capital Market risk systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proven ability to solve issues creatively and able to communicate the solutions clearly and concisely.
  • Client management expertise and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Excellent time management skills and an ability to meet the multiple strict deadlines and handle high volumes of work daily.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills required when dealing with internal groups and external counterparties in problem resolution.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite; Highly skilled in use of Excel.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing ad-hoc data requirements within short timeframes.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in multi-step processing through non-standard processing environments or in a combination of manual and automated environments is desirable.
