About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and highly motivated Analyst to join our OTC Derivatives Confirmations Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely generation, review, matching, and execution of trade confirmations across a broad range of OTC derivative products. This role requires strong understanding of OTC products, the end-to-end trade lifecycle, and confirmation processes, along with close coordination across Front Office, Legal, Middle Office, Technology, counterparties, and other internal stakeholders to ensure trades are affirmed, matched, and completed within required timelines. The Analyst will play a key role in managing confirmation breaks, resolving discrepancies, monitoring outstanding confirmations, and supporting process improvements, automation initiatives, and control enhancements to strengthen operational efficiency and risk management across the team.

  • 3+ years of progressive working experience in Capital Markets Operations

Nice To Haves

  • Prior exposure to OTC derivatives, trade confirmations, structured products, settlements, or broader trade lifecycle processes is considered a strong asset
  • Understanding of the full trade lifecycle, from trade execution through settlement and post-trade controls
  • Familiarity with industry platforms such as MarkitWire, DTCC, or similar confirmation and trade processing systems is a plus
  • Understanding of ISDA documentation and OTC derivatives operational processes is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications; experience with automation tools or Python is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and dispatch trade confirmations for a broad range of OTC derivative products, including equity derivatives, credit derivatives, interest rate swaps, and structured products
  • Ensure timely affirmation and matching of trades in accordance with regulatory timelines and internal service level expectations
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between internal trade records and counterparty details
  • Work closely with Front Office, Legal, and external counterparties to resolve confirmation breaks, disputes, and documentation issues
  • Maintain knowledge and application of ISDA Master Agreements, confirmation templates, and product-specific confirmation language
  • Reconcile trade bookings and ensure alignment across trading, middle office, and confirmation platforms
  • Monitor outstanding confirmations and escalate aging items or operational risks where appropriate
  • Support internal audits, regulatory reporting, and control processes related to confirmations and trade lifecycle management
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvements, automation initiatives, and control enhancements across the team
  • Utilize tools such as Excel, Python, or other automation solutions to improve reconciliation and workflow efficiency where applicable
