About The Position

This position is for a Teacher of Exceptional Student Education (ESE) specializing in Autism within a classroom setting. Requirements

Must comply with procedures designated by the Superintendent and School Board Policy 3.10.
Must complete forms required by federal and state agencies and the School Board.

Instructional applicants will be required to submit copies of Florida Educator’s Certificate or Statement of Eligibility (Letter from the Florida Department of Education) or Active/Valid Out-of-State Certification upon being offered a teaching position.
Must submit official transcripts from all colleges or universities from which a degree was earned.
Foreign education credentials must be evaluated by an agency approved by the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) with a course-by-course evaluation for college-level education.
Educational credentials must be from institutions accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

Nice To Haves

Applicants for some clerical positions will be required to take a Keyboarding Test and meet the Word per Minute (WPM) requirement.
The District will provide a hiring preference for prospective employees who do not use tobacco or tobacco products.
