About The Position

As a paraprofessional, you’ll encourage young learners, support teachers, and help students feel seen and capable—whether you’re guiding them through a lesson or just offering a smile when they need it. You’ll bring patience, kindness, and a steady presence to every day. What Success Looks Like: Students feel supported, safe, and included in the classroom Kids make progress in their learning and try new things with your encouragement Teachers trust and rely on you for daily support The classroom is a smoother, more positive place because of your presence By year’s end, students are more confident—and you know you helped them get there.

Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have an associate degree, 48 college credits or successfully pass a rigorous test approved by the PA Dept of Education
  • The following background clearances are required: Act 151, Act 34, Act 24, and IdentoGO FBI clearance
  • Must have the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently
