About The Position

CLA is seeking Tax/Audit Interns at its King of Prussia, Pennsylvania location for a winter 2028 internship running from January 2028 through April 2028. The role offers exposure to tax preparation, audit and other assurance services, client engagements, accounting procedures, workpapers, and systems. Interns expand their industry knowledge through work with peers and clients and through formal training opportunities. The anticipated start date is January 2028, and the anticipated end date is April 2028.

Requirements

• Be working toward a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; an Accounting or Finance degree is strongly preferred.
• Be achieving the credit requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam under applicable state requirements.
• Have general knowledge of accounting principles and financial data reporting.
• Be willing to learn new technologies.
• Be proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office products.
• Have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and other types of tax returns.
• Perform audit, review, compilation, and other assurance services.
• Gain experience and knowledge of procedures, workpapers, and systems.
• Support multiple client engagements on time and within budget, identify issues, and communicate progress.
• Expand industry knowledge through exposure to peers and clients and through formal training opportunities.
• Complete research and special projects as needed.
• Communicate regularly and effectively with clients and CLA family members.
