About The Position

CLA is seeking Tax/Audit Interns for its King of Prussia, Pennsylvania location. The role is anticipated to begin in January 2028 and end in April 2028. Interns gain experience with tax preparation and assurance services while learning the firm’s procedures, workpapers, and systems. They support multiple client engagements, build industry knowledge through exposure to peers and clients and formal training, and complete research and special projects. Requirements

Work toward a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; an Accounting or Finance degree is strongly preferred.
Achieve the credit requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam under state requirements.
Have general knowledge of accounting principles and financial data reporting.
Be willing to learn new technologies.
Be proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office products.
Have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and other types of tax returns.
Perform audit, review, compilation, and other assurance services.
Gain experience with procedures, workpapers, and systems.
Support multiple client engagements on time and within budget, identify issues, and communicate progress.
Expand industry knowledge through exposure to peers and clients and through formal training opportunities.
Complete research and special projects as needed.
Communicate regularly and effectively with clients and CLA family members.
