About The Position
CLA is seeking Tax/Audit Associates for its Tucson, Arizona location, with an anticipated start date of January 10, 2028. The role supports tax preparation and assurance engagements while building industry knowledge through client and peer exposure and formal training. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Eligible to sit for the CPA exam under state requirements.
- General knowledge of accounting principles and financial data reporting.
- Willingness to learn new technologies.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Office products.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites.
Nice To Haves
- A degree in Accounting or Finance is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and other types of tax returns.
- Perform audit, review, compilation, and other assurance services.
- Gain experience and knowledge of procedures, workpapers, and systems.
- Support multiple client engagements on time and within budget, identify issues, and communicate progress.
- Expand industry knowledge through exposure to peers and clients and through formal training opportunities.
- Complete research and special projects as needed.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with clients and CLA family members.
